Following her split from fiancé Future last summer, Ciara released the vulnerable, yet pointed, post-breakup anthem “I Bet.” Future meanwhile dropped a song called “P—y Overrated” with Mike WiLL Made-It and Wiz Khalifa.
Ciara wins.
And she keeps on winning with the release of the “I Bet” video Monday night (Mar. 9).

Like “Ride” and “Body Party” before it, CiCi’s dancing talents stay front and center in the video, which incorporates elements of ballet (pointe shoes, the music box playing Tchaikovsky’s “Swan Lake”) and even “Flashdance” (those leg-warmers!) to hammer her expertise home.
“Right now it’s killing me ’cause now I have to find someone else when all I wanted was you,” she sings as the video draws to a close. A hand bearing the weight of a huge-ass diamond (engagement ring?) closes the music box, and the screen fades to black.
Ciara’s still hurting, but she’s moving on — so why am I the one feeling all these feelings?
“I Bet” is the lead single off of Ciara’s sixth studio album, Jackie, dropping later this year.
