M kicked off her set at London’s O2 arena Wednesday (Feb. 25) wearing a cape so long, a pair of backup dancers had to carry it behind her. It looks like the cape snagged when her dancers went to remove it, causing the singer to fall backwards down a flight of three stairs and onto the stage beneath her.

aside, Madonna picked herself right back up and finished the
matador-inspired performance with the same dramatic flair she brought to
the Grammys a couple weeks ago, closing the Brits with a smile.Madonna sings about how she’s “not gonna stop” in “Living For Love,” and tonight she proved that.
She echoed that sentiment in an Instagram post immediately following the performance: “Armani hooked me up! My beautiful cape was tied too tight! But nothing can stop me and love really lifted me up!”
