Everyone Should Wanna Collaborate With Kelly Clarkson After Listening To These Three New Songs

Last week, Kelly Clarkson told BBC Radio 1′s Nick Grimshaw that her dearth of collaborations is not for lack of trying. “I honestly would collaborate with a lot of people, but everyone usually says no,” she said. “Sometimes I feel like I have the plague, or leprosy, they’re like, ‘If you get too close…’ I don’t know.”
While the singer has since clarified that she was toooooootally just “making a joke” with that “plague” comment, nobody puts Kellegend in a corner. Everybody should want to collaborate with the original “American Idol,” and the three new songs released this week off her upcoming seventh album, Piece By Piece, only hammer that point home.
  1. “Invincible,”

You can beat Kelly down “like a waterfall,” but, as she sings on the Sia-cowritten track, she DGAF. She’s a warrior! She’s a shooting star! She’s…invincible.
  2. “Piece By Piece”

Is Kelly singing about how husband Brandon Blackstock restored her faith “that a man could be kind and a father could stay”? Has she finally made peace with her “Because Of You” trauma? WHY CAN’T I STOP CRYING.
  3. “Run, Run, Run” featuring John Legend

Legend meets Kellegend! See what happens when you collaborate with Kelly, everybody? Preview the track on iTunes, and weep with envy.
