Big Sean’s Dark Sky Paradise is just days away from being released, but he’s already got a few great reasons to celebrate.
The rapper held a listening session for his latest album recently, a star-studded event that brought out one of Sean’s idols.
“Hearing Hov say, ‘Great job on this album!’ and then NOT waking up in my bed in Detroit at my mom’s house was awesome,” Sean said of this dream-come-true in the caption.
Sean’s managed by Jay Z’s Roc Nation, a move that was announced late last year.

Of course Ariana Grande was also on hand to support her boyfriend, and Sean showed her love for it.

“Thankful for you @arianagrande!” Sean said in the post’s caption. “I love you. Thankful for the life I live…It’s confirmation that we can do anything we put our minds to as human beings. The world is yours!”
Friends also joined in on the fun.
So did Sean’s G.O.O.D. Music brother Pusha T.

Jhene Aiko, who is also a guest on the album, showed up to support Sean, too.
During another recent listening session, Sean said this album came after a year of craziness. He also recently spoke with MTV News about “One Man Can Change The World,” a cut off the project, discussing why it’s such an emotional track.

The wait for Dark Sky Paradise is almost over. The album is set to be released February 24.
